Assistant Accountant

IPS continues to grow and is looking for a detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to support our growing operations and finance team.

The Role
Reporting to the Manager Finance, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day finance operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting across projects and service jobs.

Key Responsibilities
o Leading Accounts payable & receivable processing function
o Bank and General Ledger account reconciliations
o Assist with monthly financial reporting and closing
o Job costing and profitability analysis support.
o Assist in budgeting and forecasting
o Payroll support (as required)
o Maintain accurate financial records and compliance
o Support audits and tax reporting

What We’re Looking For
• 2–4 years’ experience in an accounting/finance role
• Degree or studying CA/CPA (highly regarded)
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic modelling)
• Experience with job costing or project-based accounting
• High attention to detail and a strong analytical mindset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational business
