Turbo Machinery Field Service Engineer

IPS Australia located in Sydney and Perth, is specialised in the service and repair of high speed rotating equipment including turbo, reciprocating and screw compressors, steam, gas and wind turbines, pumps and gear boxes. Among other products we are the authorized service provider for MAN Diesel & Turbo Turbo Machinery, Ansaldo Thomassen for gas turbines and the exclusive representation for the sales and service of reciprocating compressors of Burckhardt Compression, backed up by our turbo machinery specialized workshop in Sydney and Perth and a highly experienced field service team.

For the support of our field service team we are looking for a full-time, permanent and qualified mechanical tradesperson/technician who must be familiar with repair and maintenance procedures for the service of high speed rotating equipment. The main workload is the provision of field maintenance service for compressors and turbines including wind turbines for which training will be provided. The sucessfull applicant should be a qualified fitter/machinist or technician and be able to work within a small team with only a minimum amount supervision, be highly motivated and possess a high level of trade skills. 

The position is open for international applicants with excellent spoken and written English skills. We will provide assistance with the relocation and obtaining a work visa.
