About IPS Australia

Since 1975 the company has been trading in Australia as part of the MAN Group Germany, a leading manufacturer of industrial plant and equipment, under the names MAN GHH Australia, MAN IPS Australia and IPS Australia.

Due to global company restructuring in Sept 2001 the activities of MAN IPS were transferred by management buyout into a privately owned IPS Australia. 

In 2008 70% of the shares in IPS were bought by MAN Ferrostaal AG (today Ferrostaal AG). The remaining 30% are held by IPS Managing Director Erich Roth. 

IPS Australia ‘s main activities are in the sales and service of plant and equipment for the petrochemical and mining industry, renewable energy industry (such as Concentrated Solar Power and Biomass) and the sales and service of rotating machinery incl. the service of wind turbines. 

IPS Australia offers highly competent technical support of the operation, preventative and scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting of rotating machinery plant and equipment throughout Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands. 

The 24-hour after sales service for compressors and turbines is backed up by our specialised workshops in Sydney and Perth and a team of highly experienced field service engineers. 

In addition to its core activities and its excellent market position, IPS Australia provides Ferrostaal with a business platform for new activities and opportunities in Renewable Energies, bringing to Australia state-of-art technology in concentrated Solar Power and Biomass Power.
